Terms of Use – CV Maker

By downloading, installing, or using CV Maker – AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal Apple devices for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

The App offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscription plans.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

3. AI-Powered Features

The App includes optional AI-powered features such as grammar correction, resume optimization, cover letter generation, AI review, translation, and summary generation.

By using AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your resume text (job titles, descriptions, education, skills) will be sent to OpenAI via their API for processing.
You must provide explicit consent within the App before any data is transmitted to OpenAI.
AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated text before use.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
We do not guarantee any employment outcomes resulting from the use of AI features or the App.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter into the App.
You agree not to use the App to create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
You must not use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful material.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
CV content you create belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or resume content.
You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its templates.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

OpenAI – for AI-powered text generation (subject to OpenAI's Terms of Use)
Apple App Store – for subscription payments and management

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from AI-generated content.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
